1. Cleaning Precautions, Power Off Before Cleaning

   · Always turn off the power and disconnect the air supply before cleaning. Allow the valve to cool to room temperature.

   · Do not clean while the valve is powered or pressurized to avoid electric shock or fluid jet hazards.

a) External Valve Cleaning

   · Wipe the valve surface with a lint-free cloth moistened with isopropyl alcohol or deionized water.

   · Do not use corrosive, flammable, or abrasive cleaning agents.

b) Nozzle Cleaning

   · For clogged nozzles, soak them in a dedicated cleaning solution (e.g., acetone, isopropyl alcohol) for 5–10 minutes, then dry with a high-pressure air gun.

   · Never use metal pins or hard tools to probe the nozzle, as this may damage internal structures.

c) Piezoelectric Ceramic Protection

   · Prevent liquids or dust from entering gaps in the piezoelectric actuator.

   · If the piezoelectric ceramic surface is contaminated, gently blow it dry with compressed air.

 

2. Routine Maintenance

 

a) Regular Inspections

   · Check nozzle wear and seal aging weekly, and replace worn parts promptly.

   · Test the voltage stability of the piezoelectric actuator monthly to ensure dispensing accuracy.

b) Lubrication and Sealing

   · Use only manufacturer-recommended lubricants, applied sparingly to moving parts (e.g., valve stem).

   · Replace seals every 3–6 months to prevent adhesive curing and leakage.

c) Fluid Compatibility

   · Ensure dispensing materials are compatible with valve materials (e.g., stainless steel, ceramics) to avoid chemical corrosion.

   · When changing adhesive types, thoroughly clean the flow path to prevent cross-contamination.

 

3. Maintenance and Storage

 

a) Long-Term Storage

   · Before storage, flush the flow path thoroughly with cleaning solution and dry with compressed air to remove residual liquid.

   · Disassemble if necessary and store in an anti-static bag in a dry, dust-free environment.

b) Moisture and Shock Protection

   · Piezoelectric components are sensitive to humidity; storage humidity should be below 60%.

   · Avoid severe shocks during handling to prevent piezoelectric ceramic damage.

c) Professional Calibration

   · Calibrate jet parameters (e.g., frequency, voltage) every six months or after repairs by qualified personnel.

   · Keep a maintenance log to track valve performance changes.

 

4. Safety Warnings

 

· Do not disassemble the piezoelectric ceramic module without authorization. High-voltage operation may cause severe injury.

· Dispose of used valves according to electronic waste regulations to prevent environmental pollution.
